FRAUD PROTECTION
Protecting You from Fraud
We've become aware of individuals impersonating Daily Direct / HaulBikes on platforms like Central Dispatch and uShip. In reported cases, customers have paid for transportation, had their motorcycles picked up, and then lost all contact with the transporter. In some cases, bikes have been taken out of the country and never recovered.
That is not HaulBikes.
How to verify you're working with the real HaulBikes
- All HaulBikes shipments are confirmed with a signed contract sent via DocuSign. No DocuSign = not us.
- We do not use third-party companies to book or manage shipments.
- Our drivers carry official HaulBikes identification and will ask to see a valid photo ID at delivery. For dealerships, a business card from the location is requested.
- All payments are processed through our secure online system. We will never ask for payment via Venmo, Zelle, Cash App, wire transfer, or cash.
Red flags to watch for
Be cautious if anyone contacting you about a HaulBikes shipment:
- Requests payment outside of our normal booking process
- Pressures you to skip or rush the contract step
- Cannot provide a DocuSign contract
- Asks for payment via Venmo, Zelle, Cash App, wire transfer, or cash
- Cannot be verified through our main contact channels
- Requests a delivery location change and asks you to pay the driver directly
If you've been targeted
- Do not release your vehicle and stop any pending payment immediately if possible
- Contact us directly to verify your booking
- Report the incident to the platform where you found the listing (Central Dispatch, uShip, etc.)
- File a report with the FTC at reportfraud.ftc.gov
